Start with the safest option. A password reset keeps the account, Circle memberships and permissions connected to the same verified email.
Cannot use that email anymore?
Do not create a second account to get around the problem. That could split your identity, invitations and Circle history. Contact support for a human account-recovery review instead.
Support will need enough information to confirm that the account belongs to you. They will not ask for your password. Participant and Circle information stays closed until identity is reasonably confirmed.
