Quality support built around the person — and the people who matter to them.
The Smiling Monad brings reliable support work together with a living Circle of Support, practical worker tools and clearer communication. The aim is not simply to complete care tasks. It is to help people live better, stay connected and have more control over their own lives.
Practical help, stronger relationships and clearer teamwork
Support can be privately arranged or funded through an applicable program where the service and provider status allow it. Every service begins with a clear agreement and person-specific suitability check.

About The Smiling Monad
Support works better when the whole human system is understood
The Smiling Monad begins with a simple idea: a person is not a collection of tasks, diagnoses or service bookings. Each person lives inside relationships, routines, places, memories, hopes and a wider community.
The platform helps the person and their chosen Circle organise the practical work around life. The Support Services team can then deliver direct assistance within that same person-centred structure.
Support is built around the person’s communication, preferences, rights, relationships and changing circumstances.
2
Good support is relational
Reliability, listening, trust, curiosity and respectful communication matter as much as completing a task.
3
The Circle works together
The right people receive the right information, responsibilities are visible and important follow-up is less likely to be lost.
4
Safety without taking over
Safeguarding, screening and clear escalation are combined with choice, dignity of risk and the person’s authority over their own life.
Starting support
A clear pathway from first conversation to reliable support
01
Tell us what good support looks like
We begin with the person, their communication, current supports, goals, routines, risks, interests and what has or has not worked before.
02
Build the right support relationship
We consider availability, personality, experience, qualifications, verified compliance and the skills needed for this particular support.
03
Agree the service clearly
Support, pricing, travel, cancellations, records, privacy, emergency contacts and Circle access are agreed before work begins.
04
Learn and improve together
Notes, handovers, feedback, incidents and outcomes are used to strengthen continuity, worker practice and quality of life over time.
Founding team
Ben and Kieron are building the service they would want beside a person they care about
The Support Services team is being built carefully: strong relationships locally, clear operating systems centrally, and no public claim about a worker’s credential, clearance or suitability until the evidence has been checked.

Kieron
Kieron is helping turn the Smiling Monad vision into a dependable local support service: establishing team routines, supporting workers, strengthening operational follow-through and developing a repeatable model for future regions.
His full staff profile, verified qualifications and formal responsibilities will be published through the same evidence-based profile process used for every recommended worker.
Smiling Monad staff appear first because they work within our induction, supervision and service systems. Verified affiliates follow. Qualifications and role suitability then refine the order inside each group.
How ranking works
Affiliation comes first, then verified role-relevant qualification level, then verification status and name. Visibility never guarantees availability, registration, compatibility or a safe match for a particular person.
